Din Tai Fung @ Wisma Atria

After the last bad experience at Junction 8's branch, thought will not go back to eat again. Recently there has been new dishes added and decided to give a try again this afternoon.
Ordered the following dishes:
Crispy prawn pancakes ($7.80)

Xiao Long Bao ($4.80 for half serving)

Shrimp and meat wantons soup ($6.50)

Braised Tofu with minced meat ($2.80)

Total bill : $27.90

included Misc charge of $1.00 per person for hot tea and wet tissue, 10% service charge and 5% GST.

The braised tofu was full of flavours. Nice if there was a bowl of rice to eat with it. Next come the Xiao Long Bao which was okay, but would be better if there was more soup in them. The prawn pancake looked simple like a fishcake pancake but tasted full of shrimps and I think got water chestnut also, 'cos of its taste. The wanton soup was the letdown. The soup is a bit tasteless and both of us agreed that the wanton skin was too thick.

Overall it was a much better than the last experience.
